Sarah Lawman is an artist who has always been very creative and imaginative, making things at home, as far as she can remember, clearly recalling the joy it brought her.
Sarah has always been amazed by what art can do, and how thinking out of the box, and trying new – sometimes mad – things, can spark imaginations and result in truly amazing creations. With Art, there really are no limits.
Sarah has worked in graphics and print, she paints in acrylic and produces her own ceramics. She loves the traditional sense of arts and crafts, and can’t get enough of the texture of paint or print on a canvas or block. She now enjoys passing on her passion, and igniting the enthusiasm and love of all things arty to others of all ages through SL ART.
Sarah runs fun-filled art workshops for children aged five and over and, in some cases for adults with learning disabilities, using a variety of mixed media and art forms.
Sarah has a thirst for helping others to increase their knowledge of the arts and her desire to explore art as a form of self-expression has lead her to gaining a diploma in Arts Therapy. Sarah currently works in a school using Art therapy in wellbeing and education. She is DBS checked and holds full public liability cover.
